The Bhartiya Janata Party Has always dreamt of winning this one eastern state since its inception in the 80s.
Late Dr. Shyamaprasad Mukherjee being the founder father of the erstwhile Jan Sangh actually set the tone of true nationalism in Indian politics.
Dr. Shyama prasad was able to pick up the tricky politics of Neheruvian mischiefs
pretty early on in this nascent democracy called the Indian republic.
Perhaps, the ethics and ethos of the Indian cultural democracy would be lost forever;
had dr Shyama prasad not taken the onus upon himself to convince the Rashtriya Sayamsevak Sangh to;
support his direct venture of nationalist politics in the Indian democratic arena.
The RSS was convinced and the formation of Jansangh happened.
How great A visionary dr Shyama prasad was; that could be seen today with the emergence of the Bhartiya Janata Party all across the nation.
Trinamool Congress wrested power from the Left Front.
However; it has always been a pinching point for the RSS-BJP combine;
were not being able to siege the state power in Dr. Shyama prasad s birth state.
BJP tried, but failed to cash in anti-incumbency against the34 years LEFT rule early on 2011,

Which Mamata Bannerjee continued for the past ten years.
Beginning 2011 to 2016 were somehow managed by the firebrand lady.
her political doctrine of wagging power at any cost derived her the supreme control of the state.
But, in order to consolidate her own position, this street-smart lady ventured into some troubling water.
Mamata Banerjee was successfully able to macro divide the Bengal society-
within the caste line; when she adopted the MOTUA Panth symbolized SC politics in the state.
In her second innings post-2016; she started to outrightly appease the Muslims;
thus triggering the religious confrontation within the state.
However, she could not manage to balance the open rift and
always choose to part with the Muslim minorities.
167 plus seats for the Bhartiya Janata Party?
This was the exact opening the BJP was waiting for.
In the 2019 Loksabha election, the BJP came out with huge popularity within the state by winning 18 LS seats.
This was the turning point for the RSS-BJP,
the organization could read the writing on the wall and go ahead with an all-out plan to soothe their most pinching point of west Bengal state power.
So far the 1st phase of Bengal election 2021 has just concluded,
but the scenario and popular mood survey strongly indicate around 167 plus seats for the Bhartiya Janata Party.
