Ram Rajya Is An Ideal form Of Governance, Often Misrepresented by the Political Manipulators. Religion and politics are interconnected.
But there shouldn’t be any in fighting on the religious factors and fractions.
However, the ideals of religion are always superior to the different form of socialism and
therefore the uses of rightful and positive religious ideals should be incorporated in to politics.
There are many countries in the world, which has adopted the religion as state policy and
they are administering the country with the basic and principal laws of their respective adopted religions.
Burring some deliberate inter religious conflict among different fundamental factions in these countries There are no large scale complications noticed as yet.
Ram Rajya !- Every religion teaches and preaches moral values and ideal ways of living.
Every religion teaches and preaches moral values and ideal ways of living,
which are largely based upon social rationality and logic, unless deliberately manipulated;
these time tested practices can never show any adverse effect on politics.
Contrary to it, it may help in better governance through politically elected representatives.
It has been noticed in many election campaigns that certain politicians arouse religious
sentiments by their speeches and their party gets elected with majority on the basis of religious appeal.
It strongly indicates that sentiments of our masses are deeply associated with religion.
Ram Rajya – Citizen of the country lived with dignity, honor, self-respect and happiness under religious state run by Lord Rama.
Section of Our politicians with strong belief in ancient Indian social formation and
reformation often refer to Ram Rajya as an ideal way of governance,
which was a religious state run by Lord Rama under which every citizen of the country lived with dignity, honor, self-respect and happiness.
I’m sure that you will agree with me that there is nothing wrong to use such ideals of religion with politics and in the governance.
If not Ram Rajya, than a better Rajya with whatever more populist name can be set up with those invaluable ancient ideals of Vedic era.
Ram Rajya – Chanakya followed the system of governance based on religious preaching.
In ancient India, Manu evolved a system to meet the necessity of each and every one.
For that he classified the society according to the capabilities and skills of the citizens.
We read in history that the system was extremely workable and was based on the principle of religion.
Later on, the great and learned man Chanakya also followed the system of governance
based on religious preaching, which was successful in establishing the mighty Mourya kingdom of king Chandra Gupta Mourya.
To my mind, governing the country with religious ideals does not mean that
we are sticking to a particular religion but we have to apply the basic principles of
all the religions without any discrimination and that will never cause any conflict amongst the people.

We have defined secularism basically in the wrong sense.
I’m of the opinion that there should be no contradictory things in the religion which may alternate other sections.
There is a need that the religious authorities should play the active role
to mobilize the public opinion to eliminate such conflicting aspects from religions so that
they become acceptable to all and brotherhood amongst the religions is strengthened.
We have defined secularism basically in the wrong sense.
Secularism should have been equal respect to all the religions and sections of the people
but instead of that our political establishment defined it as the state without any religion.
Thus you will agree that the former is the true fact and not the latter.
Thus it confirms that there is a base of religion in the secularism setup.

Many states in our country having political parties with religious ideology came into power.
We have experienced in the past in many states in our country that;
parties having religious ideology came into power and
did well without any discrimination amongst different sections of the people.
We have also seen that communal riots take place as an outcome of religion based politics.
The founding fathers of our constitution gave the great and
foresighted thoughts to the point that India should ever remain a secular country without
giving state patronage to any religion, so that unity in diversity remains intact.

The real leadership and statesmanship has altogether vanished.
This is unfortunate that in our country a continuous deterioration is taking place in day to day politics.
Many political parties are coming into existence like mushroom growth.
They are bearing the flags of either religion, castes, creeds, regionalism or language,
sidetracking the main issues of development of the country.

Ram Rajya – The world is moving towards modernization.
The world is moving towards modernization.
The countries like America are exploring and adding new dimensions to our knowledge of
the universe and we are still talking and fighting amongst ourselves on
petty issues like religion, language, class, caste, creed etc.
Time has come to leave and forget all these things behind us and
take the country ahead by keeping pace with the global race in the 21st century.
